Amanda is currently a student at California Baptist University, pursuing a single-subject teaching credential in Music and a Masters Degree in Music with an emphasis in Conducting. She also received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at CBU. During her undergraduate career, she sang for the University Choir and Orchestra, Women's Choir, Chamber Ensemble, Jazz Band, and many other school-wide events. She has a background in musical theatre and had captured lead roles which include Gabriella Montez in High School Musical and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. She loves listening to a variety of genres of music, including R&B, Jazz, Gospel, and Soul. In April 2016, she completed her In Senior Vocal Recital, performing pieces ranging from opera, Broadway, to R&B. Most recently, she has recorded background vocals for promotional material and karaoke tracks for the Disney movie, Moana. Currently, she is a 5th grade general music teacher and serves as CBU's University Choir and Orchestra lead soprano. Her aspirations are to build a music program at the high school level and to secure a residency to continue performing music.
