Music Planet offers classes on computer based recording,
even if you have no previous recording experience. We
offer hands on recording lessons that will turn you into

We can teach on just about
any software platform, but most of our students choose
to record using a program called Sonar home studio.
Sonar is just one of the many recording programs
available on the market, a few others are pro-tools,
logic, cubase and Sony acid pro. Sonar is a great
program because it is easy to use and offers
professional results. The great thing about starting
out on Sonar is that you can transfer your knowledge to
other recording programs easily because they are all
very similar. So just because you learn on one program
doesn't mean you are stuck with it forever. In addition,
Sonar wont burn a whole in your pocket, it runs from
about $80-$150, which isn’t much considering what it is
