Vocal Coach

My first singing experience was my choral debut in my pre-school Christmas concert. That night I knew that singing was for me. As a child I sang songs from The Little Mermaid for my family around the house, in the car... I began lessons (both voice and piano) at eight-years-old. I have continued to study music into college. I received my Bachelors degree in Music Education from Cal Poly Pomona. I’m currently working towards my Masters in Vocal Performance at the Longy School of Music.

I enjoy singing all genres of music, but the one I enjoy the most is Broadway music because of the character involvement, the costumes, the vocal challenges that are involved and because my voice type lends itself to “belty” songs. I also enjoy classical music because it allows me to sing in a language other than English and it’s helped me to expand my vocal range.

I’ve performed at numerous venues including the Staples Center in Los Angles for the Lakers and the Clippers and yes, even Carnegie Hall in New York with my college chamber choir. My primary goal right now is to pursue my own music education to the highest level. After I complete my Masters degree I plan to enter a Doctor of Musical Arts program for vocal performance and choral conducting. After school I hope to have a career in both teaching and performing.

In teaching music I hope to share my passion for music with others. Music is a great thing to have experienced!!!!!

We are open from 10 am to 8 pm Monday - Thursday, 11am to 7pm Friday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday
